Crown Thai Massage specializes in a combination of Eastern (Thai) and Western (Swedish, deep tissue) massage techniques.

At Crown Thai Massage, we begin our massage session with myofascial release and no oils to warm up the muscles with Thai massage techniques such as stretching, pushing, pressing, rocking, vibrating, and rhythmically compressing. Myofascial release helps with directing the blood flow to specific areas of the muscles.
After the muscle tissues are warmed up and fascia has been released, we apply oil/lotion to continue the session with Swedish or deep tissue techniques.
About Thai Massage
Thai massage has been taught and practiced in Thailand for more than a thousand years. The principles of Thai massage are based on the body’s energy paths. While Thai massage does include similar techniques as Swedish massage, it also embraces rigorous yoga-like stretches. In Thai massage, the entire body is pushed, pressed, rocked, vibrated, and rhythmically compressed by the therapist’s body—hands, feet, elbows, knees, and forearms.
